We were able to connect her with exercise and educational classes that helped her to manage all aspects of her condition. Not only was she able to better manage her condition from what she learned, she had the opportunity to connect with others going through the same thing she was, which helped to manage her stress as well.

Preventing Abuse And Fraud

Fred received an odd email claiming to be a loved one urgently asking for some money to help them get out of a scary situation. Of course, Fred was quick to jump to help. But unfortunately, the sender wasn’t who they said they were. Luckily, Fred connected with our AAAPP and through our helpful resources for scam and fraud prevention, he was able to prevent financial despair.

Marco has learned how to live a full life with his disability physically, but he still has days where he feels “down in the dumps” and struggles to adjust mentally. He knows this has an effect on his spouse, as well. F.S. 119 and the Florida Constitution provide a right of access to the public records of AAAPP pursuant to F.S. 20.41. Certain records are exempt or confidential and exempt from disclosure.  Anyone can request public records from the Area Agency on Aging of Pasco Pinellas. The requester is responsible for any cost of providing the public records, which includes staff time, cost of copies and other costs that are associated with the request as set forth by law.  To make a request, please send an email to [email protected]

AAAPP’s services are available to all eligible individuals in Pasco and Pinellas counties and AAAPP complies with all legally mandated non-discrimination policies.  AAAPP strives to provide services through a lens of inclusivity by making sure underserved communities are aware of the services available and providing the requisite assistance in linking eligible individuals to available services.  The Board of Directors, Advisory Council and staff will be representative of the seniors, adults with disabilities and caregivers we serve.
