2026 Annual Luncheon

Our 2026 Annual Luncheon presented by Independent Living Systems/Florida Community Care, was held on Friday August 21, 2026, at the beautiful Rusty Pelican located off the Courtney Campbell Causeway which provides serene views of Tampa Bay.

Our Luncheon was a wonderful celebration of the seniors, caregivers, families, community partners, and supporters who make the work of the Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas possible.

We were honored to welcome community members for an afternoon filled with inspiring stories, meaningful connections, and opportunities to make a difference for older adults throughout Pasco and Pinellas counties.

The Impact is Personal

During the luncheon, we shared stories that brought this mission to life—including the story of a Pasco County senior who was facing the possibility of having her power disconnected while managing health concerns and an approaching cold snap.

AAAPP was able to step in with emergency assistance, helping keep her power on and providing peace of mind during a vulnerable time.

Her story is just one example of why flexible resources are so important. When circumstances change, we need the ability to meet seniors where they are and provide the right support at the right time.

Together, we are creating a community where seniors and caregivers know they are not alone—and that help is available when they need it most.
