Progams Adminstered by the Area Agency on Aging

In addition to the programs it provides directly, the Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas administers a variety of programs and services for seniors, using federal and state funding. This includes the federal Older Americans Act and the state funded Community Care for the Elderly Act (CCE), Alzheimer's Disease Initiative (ADI), and Home Care for the Elderly (HCE) program. The Area Agency on Aging also manages the Aged/Disabled Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Medicaid Waiver and the Assisted Living Medicaid Waiver.

Service Provider List

The Area Agency on Aging utilizes service provider agencies to implement the programs and deliver the services. County boundaries are generally used to delineate service delivery areas.
