Pasco Aging Network

What is the Pasco Aging Network (PAN)?

The Pasco Aging Network is a coalition of agencies and private providers of elder services in Pasco County. The Area Agency is proud to be an active member of this group since its creation in 1989. We also serve as the group's treasurer of funds.

PAN has the following leadership structure:

President: Pat Sovonick 727-375-5926
Vice President: Katherine DeNote 727-847-1857
Treasurer: Helen King 727-570-9696
Secretary: Sharon Lena 727-939-0044

Pasco Aging Network meets monthly at a variety of locations in West Pasco County. Monthly PAN-Net meetings afford the opportunities for agencies and companies to network and learn about different resources and services in the county. Additionally, Pasco Aging Network meets quarterly for membership meetings.

What are the benefits of membership?

Why should you join and what do you get? Twenty-five dollars puts you in a database along with other members so that you receive direct mailings about all PAN activities. You receive flyers on each quarterly meeting, a separate mailing on the monthly PAN-NET meetings, and mailings on any special events that might be sponsored by PAN. You receive a quarterly newsletter mailed directly to you. You will occasionally receive mailings about aging-related events from the Area Agency on Aging or the Department of Elder Affairs as a result on being on the Pasco Aging Network mailing list. In other words, $25 definitely assists you in staying connected to the aging network.

Beyond the basics above, there are countless other things individuals receive by Pasco Aging Network membership. You increase your opportunities for networking with other organizations which market to or serve seniors in some capacity. You receive free information and education about current events related to seniors. You have numerous occasions to promote your products, services, or programs with others who can refer seniors to you. PAN members get to know you as well as your business, thus giving your marketing efforts a more personal touch. For all the reasons above and more, become a member of the only coalition in Pasco County that represents aging and seniors exclusively. You can also become involved in the various committees on the Pasco Aging Network. A list of those opportunities is included below.
