Committee Opportunities - PAN

You can become involved in the various committees on the Pasco Aging Network. A list of those opportunities is included below:

Membership

• Maintenance and distribution of membership list and mailings
• Introduction and follow up with new members
• Responsible for identifying and integrating new members within the network and its committees

Programs/Network

• Arrange speakers for quarterly meetings
• Information on legislative and program updates

Publicity

• Notification of quarterly meetings and other PAN events to the media
• Distribution of PAN brochure, newsletter and announcements
• Public service announcements

Special Projects

• Research and review requests for projects that would benefit the community and PAN members
• Implement application guidelines for special projects

Information and Assistance

• Promote single access point of Information to aging services with the community
• Participate in maintaining the database on aging services providers
• Contribute to the process of publishing and promoting the Senior Resource Directory

Training/Education

• Development and collaboration of training programs with community agencies
• Identify educational needs
• Review feedback and evaluations of programs presented
