BLS Healthcare Scholarship

Public Education Advocacy Networking Committee of the Better Living for Seniors (BLS) Consortium
and the Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas, Inc.

The BLS PAN (Public Education Advocacy Networking) Committee instituted a scholarship in 2003 known as the Better Living for Seniors Healthcare Scholarship. The scholarship is intended for high school seniors seeking a degree in Nursing in a two or four year college, university, or vocational technical school. The Selection Committee for the scholarship is composed of BLS members and is administered through the Pinellas County Education Foundation. www.pinellaseducation.org

The Better Living for Seniors Healthcare Scholarship is funded through donations from interested persons and organizations both within the aging network and in the broader community.
