In addition to serving seniors, the ADRC provides information about community resources for adults with a mental health disability or a developmental disability and their caregivers. Are you a caregiver?

The Area Agency offers support to caregivers. The Caregiver Handbook describes what to expect at each stage of caregiving and resources available to caregivers of seniors. The AAAPP also funds a program to support grandparents age 60 and over who are raising a grandchild.

Get Help with Medicare and Medicaid

SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) can help guide you with Medicare, Medicaid, and prescription assistance.

SMP (Senior Medicare Patrol) Program serves the entire state of Florida. SMP operates a toll-free fraud hotline, 1-866-357-6677, for the public to ask questions and report suspected fraudulent activity on their health care accounts.

Medicaid Benefits Counselors screen and provide assistance with applications for individuals age 60 and over who are Medicaid eligible.
