Pinellas County Fall Prevention Coalition
The Pinellas County Falls Prevention Coalition is a grass roots group comprised of agencies, government representatives and businesses that serve seniors and are dedicated to finding ways to prevent falls among older adults.
Vision
Our vision for Pinellas County is a community where older adults age in place successfully and remain independent by eliminating the potential for falls.
Mission
Our mission is to promote fall prevention awareness and provide fall prevention programs to older people who are at risk of falling.
Goal
The Pinellas County Fall Prevention Coalition's goal is to prevent falls among older adults in our community.

Recognition
In March 2010 the Pinellas County Fall Prevention Coalition was one of four coalitions that received an award from the Area Agency on Aging in recognition of the partnerships that made a difference in the community. The Area Agency noted that these groups "demonstrated what a group of people committed to a mission can achieve."
